Recipe: Bacon Wrapped Chicken – Crock Pot

I prepared this recipe this past Sunday.  Everyone loved it!   Although, next time I think I’ll try browing the chicken breast a little before placing them in the crock pot.  This reminds me a lot of my Eden Isle Chicken Recipe.  Give it whirl!  Very easy to make and very, very good.  (not low cal).

Bacon Wrapped Chicken for the Crock Pot

4   chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
4 slices bacon
8-10 slices ham or chipped beef
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
sauteed mushrooms or pimiento slices for garnish

Line bottom of crock pot with the ham.  Wrap each chicken breast with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.  Combine the sour cream and mushroom soup; pour over the chicken breasts.  Cook on low in the crock pot for 8-10 hours or on high for 6-8 hours.

Y’all Enjoy!

  1. I have one very similar to this that I do in the oven. The chicken just falls apart. We had the crock pot country ribs last night, and they were absolutely delicious!

  2. Yum. Sounds really good!

  3. I vote for tossing a little wine in there with the soup and sour cream.
