Recipe: Peanutty Choco Surprises
Posted by starwoodgal on December 3, 2008
To continue the virtual cookie swapping, here’s Mimi’s recipe for Peanutty Choco Surprises. These are a lot of fun for kids to make and they are really, really good. You can’t beat the taste of PB & Chocolate together.
Peanutty Choco Surprises
1 cup peanut butter
1 stick margarine
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 lb. chocolate kisses (remove foil wrapper)
powdered sugar
Cream peanut butter, margarine and sugar. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon; add gradually to creamed mixture until well blended. Chill dough for 30 to 40 minutes. Wrap a spoonful of dough around each chocolate kiss. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove and cool slightly. Roll in powdered sugar and cool completely.
Y’all Enjoy!
