Forget prescription or non-prescription cures, Chocolate is my drug of choice! I proclaim my love for chocolate. Smooth, mellow, deliciously sinful chocolate. Say it with me. Chocolate! Yes, the cure all for hormone hell and all other stress related situations. Just saying the word……chocolate…..and I feel better all ready. Now, give me some………..chocolate. Oh go on. Say it! It will make you feel better. Chocolate.
See! Told ya! And now, something that will rock your chocolate world. My Aunt Sally’s Baked Fudge. Yep! B-a-k-e-d Chocolate Fudge! Goodness, I need to get a hold of myself because this is bordering on food porn. Here’s the recipe.
Aunt Sally’s Baked Fudge
Melt: 1/2 cup butter
Add: 1 Tablespoon cocoa
1 cup sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 Tablespoons flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
Mix and pour into a greased 8 inch pan. Set pan in pan of water and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. To serve – spoon into dish and top with whipped cream.
Say it again – Chocolate! I bet you have the ingredients in your cabinet right now. You know you want some…….Chocolate.
Y’all Enjoy!
(Note: author is currently dealing with a lot of IT work garbage and she’s perimenopausal. Pray for her!)

This is sooooo good! I have a friend that is an awesome baker. She swooned when I served this at one of our dinners and I was given credit as a baker/cook in her eyes. Quite an honor I must say. So easy to make too.
